Sales, Sanity, and Star Wars: The Usual Madness
Lately, I’ve been able to actually focus on the biz—yeah, shocking, I know. Every time I post a Guitar Hero controller, it's gone faster than my will to live during a Monday morning meeting. The random eBay thrift treasure sales have been steady, not to mention the personal connection sales that keep trickling in. Nothing crazy, but it’s all manageable alongside the 9-5 grind and home-schooling the youngest goblin. The roommate situation? Surprisingly fine. For once, I don’t feel like I’m stuck in a twisted episode of Big Brother.
I’ve scored two 5-star reviews from eBay/Etsy, which means I’m either doing something right or people are just that desperate. And get this, the reviews were for things I’ve actually worked on, not just the random junk I’ve flipped. So that’s cool. I’ve also been busy slashing some toxic ties—nothing like cutting dead weight to improve the ol’ mental state. Oh, and I'm taking actual steps to work on mental health. Who knew that not ignoring your brain was a good thing?
On the workbench, I've got projects piling up faster than I can keep track of—modding more guitars, fixing up PS5 controllers with stick drift, replacing DS screens, and drowning in Wiis. But the big one? A full Wii Hero set: drums, two guitars, a mic, DJ controller. It’ll be ready to take on any Guitar Hero, Rock Band, or DJ Hero game anyone dares to throw at it. Also still working on the God of War PSP, while the Star Wars PSP is now in the hands of YouTuber Dan-O Channel. Hopefully, it gets some love… and a shout out.;)
My 3D printer was running smoothly—until the fan crapped out on me. Typical. But hey, I’ve picked up two more printers (one’s a resin printer), so I’ll be tinkering with those soon. Yeah, the projects are piling up, but let’s be real, that’s my kind of chaos. It’s like a dragon hoard of nerdy tasks that I’ll get to eventually… maybe.
On the music front, I’ve been creating some random beats perfect for TikTok videos because, well, social media promotion is a necessary evil. Sure, I hate social media, but I also hate being broke, so it all balances out. At least I don't have to worry about copyright issues when I use my own music.
In tech world, my amazing friend and I built a home server that does everything: ad blocker, VPN, game servers, home automation, MagicMirror—you name it, we got it. Just another tool to throw into the business know-how. It's one thing to mod old consoles, but it's another level of boss to run your own digital empire.
Oh, gaming? I played through Callisto Protocol—INSANE! In the best possible way. Now I’m finally playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order… and seriously, why did I wait so long to play this masterpiece?
