A Week in the Trenches: Hustle, Humor, and Hard Work
It's been a wild ride lately, with family obligations, unexpected visits from friends, and the never-ending grind of the 9-5. But hey, that's life, right? No excuses, just the harsh reality of keeping up with the chaos.
Despite the madness, I've been keeping busy with my personal projects. Managed to wrap up modding one PSP, but it looks like the Star Wars edition needs a bit of a redo. Typical, right? No worries though, it's an easy fix. And of course, thrifting has been treating me well, snagging some sweet finds along the way. Although, I might need to pump the brakes on picking up system controllers until I can offload some of the extras cluttering up my space.
Speaking of controllers, got my hands on another Guitar Hero one that just refuses to sync with anything. So, I'm taking matters into my own hands and rewiring a Raspberry Pi Pico into it to make it a wired controller. Sometimes you gotta get creative, you know?
DS screens are fashionably late as always. And had a buddy go and mess up my VR headset, so now I'm in the business of fixing that mess. Thank goodness for extension cables, am I right?
Also stocked up on some extra Pi Picos because apparently, they're the hot commodity these days, needed for both Guitar Hero controllers and Xbox 360 mods. And let's not forget about the homeschooling supplies – picked up some Minecraft and Star Wars-themed goodies for the youngest. Gotta keep 'em entertained and educated somehow, right?
In between the everything, managed to squeeze in some gaming sessions with the boys. We conquered Sons of the Forest, I tore through Atomic Heart, and kicked off another fresh start on High on Life, as I had not beat it yet.. Because let's face it, gaming is the ultimate escape from reality.
So here's to navigating the flow of life, grinding through the madness, and finding humor in the darkest of corners. Work hard, ride the chaos.
